Accra, Ghana — 1 July 2026: First National Bank Ghana (FNBG) today announced
the formal assumption of office of Sylvia Inkoom as Chief Executive Officer, following
the receipt of regulatory approval from Bank of Ghana.

natural choice to drive our next phase of growth,” Board Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel

Sylvia Inkoom brings over two decades of distinguished experience spanning retail
banking, corporate finance and financial inclusion to the roll and describes her
appointment as an honour.
She asserts that, as a member of the FirstRand Group, one of Africa’s largest
financial services groups, First National Bank Ghana continues to benefit from deep
continental expertise, strong governance frameworks and world-class banking
capabilities. “We will deepen our reach into urban and peri-urban communities,
